Future derivatives of the Eurofighter Typhoon are "virtually unlimited" according to program officials. Besides the stealthy version previously mentioned in FYEO, there are at least four others under consideration:

1. A deep attack version with more internal fuel.

2. A version with thrust vectoring, considered of particular interest to the Germans.

3. A carrier-based version for the Royal Navy's new large carriers.
