Singapore will buy 12 AH-64 Apache helicopters from the US for $617 million. It had been anticipated that Singapore would buy eight Apaches with options for 12 more. It is not clear if there are options for additional aircraft in this contract. These Apaches will not have Longbow radars, but those could be added later.--Stephen V Cole
