Turkey has delayed its decision on a new main battle tank from June to November. The Turks say that money is not the issue, but the need to evaluate contractor offers to modify their tanks to meet Turkish requirements. While many tanks have been tested, none have the features and details that the Turks want, and they are trying to get a deal for a decent tank with the options they want at the price they want to pay.--Stephen V Cole
