The press reported on 29 May that India has deployed it's first T-90 Regiment on the Pakistani border. The three-squadron Regiment has 45 of the Russian-made Main Battle Tanks, which had been delivered in late November 2001. They were put through intensive trials and exercises in the Rajasthan desert over the preceding two months.
