The South Carolina Hunley Commission expects to raise the sunken Confederate submarine (the first in history to sink an enemy warship) in January 2001. It will be preserved and then displayed at the Charleston Museum. Plans for a funeral service for the third crew (presumably still on board) are being developed.--Stephen V Cole
