Ten nations (Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Macedonia) held a historic conference in Macedonia in March to coordinate their efforts to join NATO. All ten nations pledged to work for the goal that all should join NATO at the same time, but none of them even mentioned refusing to join if the others were not admitted simultaneously.--Stephen V Cole
