Taliban have begun double checking for Northern Alliance troops in the areas the Taliban have taken and held on to. This often involves house to house searches. The recent setbacks of the Taliban were partially caused by Northern Alliance troops rejoining their families as the Taliban swept passed them, and then coming out to fight the Taliban again when the Northern Alliance counterattack took place. Meanwhile, the Taliban recaptured Bagram airbase, which is now empty and pretty well shot up.
