 The US launched another operation, called Resolute Strike, in the south. Some 60 vehicles and two dozen aircraft were involved. A mixed force of coalition and Afghan troops are searching for Taliban and al Qaeda. 

In the last few days, police have discovered four fuel trucks, rigged with explosives,  coming into the capital. Al Qaeda or Taliban have constantly tried to get explosive rigged fuel trucks into coalition bases.

In several raids in the south, police arrested twenty Taliban suspects.
