B-52s are still operating over Afghanistan, as one dropped JDAM GPS guided bombs on suspected Taliban positions in the northwest. There has been an increase in attacks along the Pakistan border in the past week. There have been over a dozen incidents, but few of them result in friendly casualties, and many of the attackers are killed or captured. The prisoners generally admit to being supporters of the former Taliban government.
