Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia, Romania, and Yugoslavia have agreed to establish a free trade zone that ultimately will exempt up to 90 percent of their trade from customs taxes. The free trade arrangement would kick off late 2002. Moldova is also interested in participating in the free trade agreement.
