But the Maoists could not agree on that, so the Maoists have kept their weapons. Moreover, the thousands of Maoist gunmen need to eat, and they have resumed their extortion scams in order to raise money. This fund raising was supposed to halt during the ceasefire. But if there is no money, there is no food for the Maoist fighters.
