There are few places we despise more or are more despicable than Equatorial Guinea. But it looks like a small oil war (its about oil) may be brewing around the west African nation. Equatorial Guineas Prime Minister Candido Muatetema Rivas issued a statement accusing neighboring Gabon of illegally occupying the island of Mbagne. The small island (75 acres) is in Corisco Bay and sits on what may be an extension of the huge oilfields found in the Gulf of Guinea. Last month the Gabonese government did claim the island.
