The continued fighting in southern Somalia has not only driven at least 10,000 Somalis to refugee camps in Kenya, but some of the fighting has spilled over into the camps. The UN wants to move the camps further into Kenya, but the Kenyans are not enthusiastic about that. The Kenyans don't want any more Somalia refugees, or Somali gunmen that often go after the refugees (who are mostly women and children.) The fighting has also made it difficult to get food supplies to refugees inside Somalia, putting some 300,000 Somalis at risk of starvation.
