For the last four days, gunmen from the Marahan and Garri clans fought for control of Bura Hachi, a town three kilometers from the Kenyan border. Over thirty have been killed, most of them Marahans. The two clans have been fighting over control of this town, which dominates cross-border traffic and trade, for years.
