The government has been showing on TV the filmed confessions of rebels. The amoral attitude of the rebels has eliminated any remaining sympathy there was for the rebels among the population. But there are still several hundred hard core Islamic fundamentalists out there, and their favorite tactic is to terrorize civilian populations by killing men, women and children.
