Clan militiamen and bandits have increasingly turned their violence on children Recently, a revenge killing left three girls dead in Baidoa. Gunmen looking to kidnap a man, and unable to find him, kidnapped two young children instead. Bandits seeking to rob a bus, mistakenly ambushed one full of young children. The bandits drove off with the bus, letting off the children along the way. NGOs and clan leaders have called for this kind of abuse to stop.
